Hi guys, how are you? Tonight I'm going to give you some tips to identify the part of speech of different words. Learners get confused about how a particular word can be placed in a sentence just because their name they don't know. Now, lets look below:
1. All words ending with 'tion'/sion/ssion/cy/ment/ness/ty etc are nouns.
Ex: meditation, decision, permission, illiteracy, management, kindness, honesty &c
  Exception: station, fragment etc. are verbs and their past form is 'stationed' and 'fragmented' &c
2. Words ending with 'ous', 'ant' etc are usually adjectives. Ex: ferocious, avaricious, famous etc.         Again, hesitant, mendicant, pendant, reluctant etc.
3. To make verbs into nouns, drop (a) 'de' and add 'sion. Ex: decide>decision, deride> derision
       (b) 'ge' and add ment. Ex: manage> management, arrange> arrangement etc
       (c) 't' and add ssion. Ex: admit > admission, permit > permission, remit  > remission
       (d) 'te' and add tion. Ex: meditate > meditation, hesitate > hesitation, oscilate > oscilation
